Jimmy Odukoya introduces Pastor Mo Jasmine as his new wife during church service

Nigerian actor-turned-pastor Jimmy Odukoya has introduced Pastor Mo Jasmine as his new wife during a church service, publicly announcing their marriage to members of his congregation on Sunday.

Addressing the congregation, the senior pastor of Fountain of Life Church disclosed that his first marriage had ended before he assumed leadership of the church in 2023, following the d+ath of his father, Pastor Taiwo Odukoya.

He explained that he had been carrying out his pastoral duties alone since taking over the church, before introducing his new wife to the congregation.

“So, you know, ever since I became your pastor, I was doing this work of life alone. And you know that the Bible says it is not good. It said I will find somebody suitable. Ladies and gentlemen, let me introduce to you for the first time Pastor Mrs Odukoya,” he said.

The church also congratulated the couple in an Instagram post featuring photos and videos of them together.

“Congratulations to our senior pastor and First Lady Pastor Mo,” the church wrote.

The announcement came as a surprise to many social media users, who reportedly believed Jimmy was still married to his former wife, Kemi Odukoya, as he had kept the dissolution of their marriage private.

The former couple got married in 2013 and have two children together. The reason for the breakdown of their marriage has not been made public.
